On the radio of my aygo can i make the station info scroll ? Many a time i can only view half the information?

Also has anyone noticed the sat nav travel times are way out? I was quoted 1hr 37 minutes today to travel 27 miles most of which is 60mph even at 5 miles from the finish it stood at 45 minutes despite several resets on the journey?

The station info does not scroll, rather annoying isn't it!!

I too have the satnav and wont go into details about as I have had my say on another thread on here.

Toyota blog confirms this feature is not supported (sigh)

"We checked this further with technical and it is basically down to the car being set up this way and only showing the first few characters. No plans to change this for the time being."

Frankly if I worked forToyota as QA I'd want a fairly brief meeting with the x touch design team lead and to run through a few user acceptance "issues".

Agreed the xtouch was one of the main features which attracted me to the Aygo....everything else on the car meets and exceeds my expectations the xtouch though kinda dissapoints!

Only small things that niggle but they take the shine off it slightly

It is a shame. Particularly as the salesman spent 90% of his sales pitch on the X-Touch.

I work for a Japanese company in a senior software QA function.

If my devs delivered this I'd have stern words. If it got out to customers with these obvious bugs ... Not good.

I also can't think of any circumstances whereby there would not be an upgrade being developed to address the issues rather than a blanket "no plans to fix this"

Really what was the point in addind text to the radio when you cant read half of what it says?....it looks so silly yet if i turn text off the display looks so bare that looks wrong also!?!

Yeah. Even suppressing the redundant and irrelevant text "Now playing" would have helped a bit.

You have to be a bit careful because some functionality are DAB related and so beyond Toyota's control ..... But scrolling text could and should have been implemented. Anyone,, absolutely anyone who used the DAB radio for 10 minutes would notice the ridiculous shortfall.

This is what frustrates.

On the positive side, the Aygo is a great lithe car and I guess you could argue we are nit picking. But as I say it's frustrating to see such obvious issues get our to customers.

This is another thing that is useless on the new Aygo thanks to poor design and/or usability testing. Either make the text scroll, make the text display area wider, make that line's font smaller, or all of the above.

I have a DAB head unit that's about 10 years old and that scrolls text. Lol.
