Tns510 Sat Nav - Maps On Sd Card?

Hi,

I'm looking to replace a faulty B9013 sat nav with the newer TNS510.

To my untutored eye, it looks like I can do a direct replacement into the same cavity and retain bluetooth / steering wheel controls / satnav capability. Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of?

I'm looking at a couple of examples of TNS510s from breakers on eBay, but not sure what to expect in terms of maps. Will I need an SD card plugged in permanently at the front?

And if not, and the maps are loaded into memory, are there implications (legal or otherwise) if I use the maps without owning the SD card?

Cheers,

John

The SD card has to be plugged in permanently. Sorry but have no idea whether the unit will fit your dash or anything about the connections.
