Vvti Con Rod Bearings-How To ?

Hi,

I have a celica 140 vvti 53 reg which has developed a bottom end rattle, i caught it straight away so i think theyll be minimal if any crank damage.

Before i look at it.

can i do it with engine still in the car ?

any special tools needed ?

how easy will sump come off, ie obstructions etc.?

can i access all 4 rod caps easily ?

ive done a few replacements but new to celicas so hopefully someone can give me a heads up.

ive searched the forum and seem to be getting mixed answers.
