As the title says ...........................

Wikipedia seems to think that the Toyota IQ is capable of having a 1.6 installed

Anyone tried it or got any photos

P.S What engine would that be ?

According to one of Toyota's chief engineers, a 1.6 could fit into the IQ, but I don't think that has actually been done. The biggest engine I know of that has gone into the IQ is the 1.4 D4D.

I know there are none as standard but I was wondering if Toyota made something like the Aygo Crazy but with the IQ

Wasn't just talking about standard models .....

Presumably if it were cost effective, the Cygnet would have had the option of a 1.6.

It is doubtful the IQ would have enough room to have a mid-mounted engine as in the Aygo Crazy.

I think the source of the information holds the answer to your question :)

(always be skeptical of information on Wikipedia)
