Auris 2007 Losing Coolant?

Hi,

I have a 2007 Auris petrol. I first noticed pink super long life coolant was low when I bought it from Toyota n Huddersfield after it had been supposedly 'fully serviced'. It was below the low mark, so I took it back to Toyota who looked at it and told me it was NOT low. A few months later I saw the sticker on the top of the bonnet which confirmed that it was actually low, why the Toyota dealership that service this car day-in-day-out did not KNOW this, I have no idea. But that meant that I it was too late to get Toyota to top it up for free as they must not have done it at the service. Because of this I will NEVER have my car serviced at Toyota Hudds!

Anyway, I bought a litre of SLL coolant from Toyota and filled it to the 'B' line (above full mark), probably putting in around 400 mls. I have noticed that after 12,000 miles it is below the low mark again, but I've only put in around 300mls to get it in between the low and full marks. So that's around 700mls of coolant in 12000 miles over 3 years.

Is it normal to loose coolant or this much coolant over 12,000miles/3yrs?
