1998 Carib S Touring Boot Speakers?

Hey guys, Just got a 1998 Carib S Touring, And in the boot by the rear struts there are rear Speakers but no wire or connection to them, Do I have to run a new one from the headunit? And if so is anyone experienced in removing the double din headunit? I cant seem to find a way to remove it.
