Full Respray Questions. (london Area)

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good place to get a respray in London. I have a red celica and I'm looking to give it a full respray in a similar shade of red.

I'm looking to purchase a new body kit (front/rear bumpers and side skirts) before getting a respray so I'm guessing they won't take too much prep except for fitting?

Luckily the body is in good condition and only have a few minor dents and stone chips.

I have a friend who used to work in a body shop who can prep the car for me to get it ready for paint.

What places can anyone recommend that offers a good quality job but not crazy expensive and what price roughly should I expect?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi, Levi, and welcome to T.O.C.

I can't help re your question, but if your car is a 140, make sure you keep some money to one side, as 2001 models are renowned for needing a replacement engine at some stage.

A mate of mine just had a full respray done. Cost him £400. I'll find out the name of the place for you and post it here.

You got any pictures of the finished product? £400 is super cheap. Lol i'm sure it would barely cover the cost of the materials.

However it would be great if you could find out the name, cheers

Yep you guys are right, sorry my fault. Turns out that £400 was for two panels; front door and wing.

His name is Theo 07961196443, his shop is E17.

Knew it was too good to be true ;)

Thanks mate.

I've decided I'm going to wrap it myself with a friend of mine that used to work in a body shop who just finished wrapping his vehicle. Materials are looking at around £300

i was looking to do a full respray bt vinyl wrap seems ahell of alot cheaper but does it actually shine as a re-spray coz i tend to clean my car quite alot every 2weeks and every 1month and a half i get it polished/waxed so would that still work on a vinyl wrap
