Corolla 2015 Available In The Us, Will It Be Available In The Uk

Google lead me to the fact that the Corolla is available in the US in 2015, and was wondering if it will be available in the UK, or has it been available in the US for ages? See:-

It won't be available in the UK.

There is a Corolla saloon built in Turkey for the European market (and has been built there since 2007), but it won't be available in the UK due to it being too close in size to the Avensis (they share the same size wheelbase - 2700mm - which is larger than the Auris - 2600mm), and also because saloons historically don't sell as well as hatchbacks in the UK - British buyers much preferring hatchbacks.

So, in the UK if one wants a Toyota saloon, there is the Avensis.
