Hello I'm new!

My drive shaft sheared the other day and I'm on a budget. I've got a 1.6vvti 3zz fe engine, and I've seen on eBay a shaft for a 1.4 only 25 quid!,

so would anyone knowif it fitted on the off chance?

The answer is yes the 1.4 & 1.6 is the same shafts so long as the car is of the same generation Corolla ( not the earlier model ) and built in the same factory, chassis numbers starting JT = Japan, SB = UK, NM = Turkey as long as your chassis matches the donor it will fit
