hi i have a 1995 toyota celica st202 jap import on 96,000 km, im wanting to do a mini service.

i was going to just put 10w 40 Castrol magnatec in it, but i pretty much thrash the car most of the time

so is fully synthetic a better choice?

Probably, but sometimes it's better (And cheaper!) just to change the oil more regularly than use fully synth!

Agree...REGULAR oil/filter changes are the important factor.

I'm using Magnatec 5w/30 in my Celica...but (as with any oil I use) it's in there for 5k miles tops.!
