2004 Avensis 2.0 D4d Alternator

Please help

Can anyone help me with the toyota part number for the alternator on a 2004 T4 2.0 d4d engine on my avensis, The clutch pully was the first to give in had it fixed then now the alternator al of a sudden is not charging, i am thinking of getting a new one or at least a good replacement because the car has done about 160 000 miles. Engine 1cdftv

It will be very expensive buying from Toyota. Go to the likes of motor factors Europarts type in your registration and it will give you opinions on prices.

If its not charging with 160k it will be two issues

1 - carbon bushes

2 - charge controller.

number 1 is the issue, it probably could be refurbed / buy one from a motor factors unless you want genuine then have deeep deep pockets.
