Unique Mod?

Here's my unIQue mod. Managed to find these brand new OEM genuine Toyota Sirus alloy wheels, 4 of 5Jx15. Toyota GB offered Sirus alloys in Silver and also mirror finish like IQ2 alloy colour. I've managed to find Toyota Europe wheels that have satin black finish not offered in UK. Normal Sirus alloys are £548 a set. I'm going to be putting these on my White IQ2 very soon unless someone wants to make me a serious offer for them.

They are all boxed and new.

If you're selling them, I'll move the thread into the For Sale section, and you will need to provide an indicative price.

Sorry, just read the post back and it's not meant to be a sales pitch. Looking forward to the wheels going on the car tomorrow and having something OEM yet unique.

I had an eye on these when they were on eBay. Beyond my reach, though! I'm sure they will look great on the car.

Personally I've never understood the idea of having black wheels.

They are nice looking alloys but in black they just disappear into the arches and look like nothing. Bit like cars with black steel wheels when the silver plastic hub-cap has fallen off.

Just my opinion but silver is the only colour wheel that works for me. Or white wheels on a white car, that looks good.

Craig.

Craig

I see your point, especially around steel wheels with no trims. Hoping to get some better pics once car washed and tyres blacked.

Just want my car to look a bit different but still keeping it OEM. Too many white ones around my area.

A better pic now it's washed and tyres blacked. Hard to see the effect in a pic.

They look really good. I take the point about them disappearing in the wheel arches Craig, but then, for our Purple/Amethyst iQ, I'd go for Anthracite in colour. As to wheel type and size, too many variables to make a sensible choice. Maybe I will just get those that are fitted now refurbished and painted Anthracite.

I was going to get the normal wheels powder coated black but cost was £50 per wheel so opted to lay out more and have options.

It's also surprising what you can get in the back of an IQ.....like 4 alloy wheels in their boxes.
