Are Brake Calipers Covered By The 5 Year Warranty?

A suggestion to make the brakes work, is occasionally (maybe once every two weeks) to do an emergency stop (or very fast deceleration) in order to get the brakes working. From what I understand of the braking system, this is the only way to get them to apply. I think they come on when the needle would drop below the blue band during deceleration, but don't quote me. Do this from high speed (e.g. 60 MPH) to get some heat into them. YOU DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Don't do this when the brakes are new - they need to "bed in" gently to work properly!

Also, when washing try not to get the brakes wet. This applies for any vehicle. I'm always sure to not spray the brakes with water unless they are obviously dirty, as this will instantly cause the discs to rust. If you do get them wet, then take the car out and use the brakes to get them warm to dry them. They should look nice and silver, not rusty.
