68 Corona Engine Tune Up

Hi guys! I just bought a 4 speed 1968 Corona 2 door hardtop yesterday night haha. I want to drive it around 100% factory for a couple years (for fun it's not my daily). However the engine is running fairly rough. Trying to find info on this thing is next to impossible, does the 1968 have a 3R is that correct?

I'm trying to find the info on the firing order and also the correct gap for doing a valve lash.

After that is done I need to rebuild the carb and fuel pump, fluid changes, replace all the old hoses, adjust timing and a new radiator then everything should be good... so does anybody have that info on a '68 or know where I can find it? (I already signed up for that corona specific forum but it's like a lonely place where nobody goes and has no info haha).

Thank you very much in advance! I'm super excited to own this car.

I found the info :) valve lash clearances are 0.008" & 0.014", spark plug gap is 0.031", firing order is 1,2,4,3. She is running smooth now after I increased the idle and did all this. Compression checked out fairly well also. I had to remove the choke on the carb also because it kept closing while I was driving and killing the car at stops.

I need a new intake (because the OEM plenum will no longer hold inself onto the carb without popping off) and radiator (the overflow hole is broken off and it just dumps.)
