Evening, currently on my sons Yaris there are non factory fitted alloy wheels, I've now purchased some steel rim wheels but ...my question is am I ok to use the alloy wheel nuts on the steel rim wheels?

Assuming the non genuine alloys use the same set up as genuine alloys then no, steel wheels have a totally different nut to the alloys.

We have a spare set of steels for the winter (with winter tyres) for our Yaris. I picked up a complete set of nuts for ours for eBay (german supplier) for about £11. The genuine Yaris nuts for alloys have a 'sleeve' where as the steel nuts need a 60 degree taper

I think this was the supplier http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/16-wheel-nuts-for-steel-wheels-Toyota-Paseo-MR2-Yaris-Verso-Starlet-IQ-Tercel-/261583728823?hash=item3ce79af0b7

Exactly the same here. It took me a while to figure out that if I bought my steel wheels from Germany then I should also look there for the nuts, completely drew a blank on the UK suppliers.
