Hi everone

I'm looking for another avensis to replace my 2006 t4 estate. There are a few auto avensis cars

that crop up. What advice could anyone give for older high mileage cars with these boxes?

Also what's the viewpoint regarding economy?

Haven't seen too many threads on faulty auto boxes in the Avensis forum. For fuel economy... I had a 1.8 auto which gave 36mpg no matter how I drove it. Balance that against the 1.8 manual I also owned which could get as high as mid 50's, but more like mid 40's.
