Gen 7 Seat Alernatives?

Hi

I have a 2005 celica with the most uncomfortable leather factory seats. Is there any other seats that can be retrofit easily and cheaply?

I assume it's not simply the fact that they are leather that you find them uncomfortable.?....if it is then you could, I guess, simply source some direct fit cloth/fabric ones from a standard Celica and simply swap them over.?

I've never thought that the Celica seats are that comfortable..particularly having no adjustable lumbar support or steering wheel reach adjustment....so I invested in some Rossini Motorsport seat covers (£80+ from an eBay supplier) and have to say they have transformed the comfort level.!...they are a direct fit but a bit fiddly due to the Celica seats being so low to the floor.

They come with excellent side and lumbar padding and have matching neck supports too.

Thanks for the fast response, I was hoping i could find some seats from another car that would match the celica seat bases? Rather than using seat covers

Good luck with that one.!!....AFAIK you would always need to do some "engineering" to get ANY other seat to fit the original bases.

no other factory seat will bolt up directly you are better off finding seats that you can fabricate your seat rails to and fit but doubt it will be super easy unless you by some recaro celica rails which will probably be in excess of £100+
