Clutch Tick Noise On Release

Is it normal for the clutch to tick (like a click sound) each time it is released, for a car that has only 600 miles? I bought a Toyota Aygo last month and lately I have been noticing that each time that I release the clutch it makes a click sound. The car has been inspected by the dealer, and I was informed that this is something normal and the car has no malfunctioning components.

Should I worry about the sound (given that the car is brand new) or is this something expected?

Wonder if it is the switch that prevents the car starting unless the clutch is depressed....

True, but I would also have been inclined to ask what the click is
