Toyota Super Custom 3L Manuel Parts Needed Asap

Hello every one

i bought a supercustom 3.0l manuel, it is a lovely example but it needs all the usual things doing

timing belt

water pump etc...

also the speedo has stopped working has anyone else had this problem? if so how is the best way to fix it?

does anyone know of a place in the uk which deals in them

or a website i can go too to find them

i need to get it done ASAP

any info would be amazing

also is there a garage that specalizes in this model in the country i could ring

The speedo transducers in the transmission are a pretty common problem, 3 wire plug. From memory the centre wire is the signal wire. If you hook up a test light to earth, then tap the test light quickly onto the centre terminal (carefully) the speedo should move, best if someone is staring at the speedo, as you can't see it from under the van 8-). They do also have problems with capacitors leaking onto the speedo circuit board, that's a remove and have speedo repaired or replaced solution.
