hi all, new here...

iv got a 2003 landcruiser d4d auto, i didnt drive the car for over a year due to having disk issues in my back, iv recently got the car back on the road (iv missed it sooooo much) but whilst driving the car wont accelerate over 3000 revs and goes into 'limp mode' I have to let the truck slow down (especially on the motorway) to just under 60 and then it kicks back in, but repeats it all over again, it seems like it does it at gear change???

things checked by my mechanic, as follows-

EGR is ok and clean

Waist gate is ok and moving

MAF was changed and ok

fuel filter changed

the cars turbo kicks in beautifully as it should,

there are no miss fires and idles as it should

nothing coming up on diagnostics

The pressure is controlled by the suction control valve on the diesel pump if the pressure is dropping and there are no actual fuel leaks ( car should detect a high pressure leak and set a warning light ) then it would suggest you have sticking Suction control valves. There is a kit part available from Toyota to fix this part number 04221-27012 which contain both valve required.
