Corolla Sr 2.0 D4D Buying

Hi Im looking at this car in the blue paint colour. Was wondering how reliable the car is, anything to look for etc?

I also may consider the 1.6 sr petrol - so any info on this is also appreciated

Nothing major to add, I've had a 07 D4D Colour Collection 115 for a year now, and I've put 22k on in that time (now 95k)

Nothing has gone wrong in that time but a few wear tear items are looming, rear arm bushes, can feel the clutch/DMF going slightly and a couple of niggles that don't affect the car.

Plus points, looks good, goes well enough once on the move ( a little slow off the mark if anything) and I get (on the motorway 60% of the time) 55mpg. A very grown up car in its segment I think. Decent enough space with the 5dr, not sure if the SR is 5dr.

Boot is small but then I've always had booted saloons before this one.
