Click From Clutch Pedal Upon Releasing - D4D

Nothing major but truly annoying.

I can feel a click from the pedal when releasing it. It doesn't seem more noticeable when slowly releasing it.

It has the usual heavy D4D clutch, I wonder if the extra effort to actuate the clutch has lead to this.

No plans to replace the DMF/clutch until it is clanking its a*se off.

95k on the clock.

Any ideas, do you think the pedal or pedal spring is goosed?

Does sound more like something catching or some bush worn on the pedal assembly.

Have you been under footwell and had a look and given all the joints some lubrication, though do not get normal oil /grease into the actual clutch plunger, use spray white grease for that so the rubbers are not affected.

You could also lub the end of the slave cylinders piston where it contacts the clutch arm, but again do not spray or allow oil into the clutch housing.
