We haven't had the Corolla in the UK since 2007 - instead we have the Auris hatchback/estate.

Which country do you reside in?

If you live within Europe and have a Turkish-built Corolla, that may be similar to the Auris as regards disabling the seat belt alarm.

If you live in the US or Canada, the US-built Corolla may be different.

Probably need it done via a computer. On some older Toyotas there was a procedure involving pressing a sequence of buttons and unbuckling/bucking up etc, but there doesn't seem to be a procedure in the newer ones (on UK ones anyway).
