Hi Rav4 owners. :flowers:

I drive a 2006 Rav4 D-4D 2.2 VX and a 1999 Lexus IS200 outo.

The Rav now has 283000 kilos on the clock and I do all servicing and repairs myself. So far the only problems I have had is the alternator pulley/clutch that broke, one front ball joint and one front wheel bearing. It has done lots of mileage on bad roads, sand and mud and I think it is an excellent SUV. The clutch is starting to slip a little in 5th and 6th so that is my next project. Since purchasing it in August 2009 and it has averaged 7.8 L/100 over the 144000 kilos.

The IS200 has 124000 on the clock. I have rebuilt the 2L six engine, resprayed the front bumper and polished the headlight and fog light lenses. The wheels and rear bumper still need doing but the bodywork and interior are still in great nick. Lovely car, not fast but quiet, comfortable and economical.
