B9010 Radio Code?

Is there such a thing?

After perusing the forum about a few faults I have with my car, one of the offered solutions seems to be 'disconnect the Battery and reconnect'. I have no idea if this will render my b9010 satnav/radio nonfunctional subject to the input of a code. If so any advice as to where I can find that code?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they're not coded. The two (non sat nav) stereos I've removed from Avensis (both 2005) weren't.

Thanks. I can't find anything in the original manual to suggest they are either.

I understood that they are actually coded to the car (ECU?) so that whilst Battery disconnection isn't a problem for the driver the units are not readily swappable hence not much use to a potential thief.

I swapped batteries on a 57 plate T25 Avensis myself - no problem with having to use a code.
