Loss of power, ABS and VSC lights on dash dash

These lights came on on my d4d recently after driving thru a rain storm. Unfortunately they were accompanied by an engine noise and loss of power. Lights subsequently went off. Noise persisted and could not get over 50kph. Had to be lifted off the motorway. The car is in the shop now for over 4 weeks. All injectors replaced...still no joy....now looking at "the 5th injector ??", whatever that is..Any ideas .

Possible dpf blocked why would they change injectors

It's part of the DPNR fitted as part of the D-CAT system. Quote "The fifth injector, or Exhaust Port Injector (EPI) was added and placed on the exhaust port. At the critical moment, fuel is injected into the exhaust gas flow in order to create the right stoichiometric conditions for the DPNR catalyst. This allows the DPNR catalyst to reduce harmful emissions".

Here's what the DPNR looks like, it's bolted to the back of your engine and is an integral part of the exhaust system.
