After Market head unit

Has anyone replaced the head unit on a Corolla Verso using something like on this site?

Just as a response to my own question.

After being fed up with the solution I went for, for bluetooth handsfree, and stream music etc, and the general crappiness of radios on older cars I have opted for this...

They have ordered in the extra bits needed such as the facia in Silver, the wiring loom, and string wheel loom and they will be fitting in a week this Saturday, 5th March.

I had a play in store as they allow you to hook up your iPhone, and it is a cracking system. Way better than the Toyota Touch system in my Wifes Yaris!

Once it is fitted I'm going to fit the reversing camera myself http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Accessories/Rear-View-Cameras/ND-BC8

This automatically engages when you select reverse, and has all the proper guidelines.

This should really inject some modern technology into what is a great car otherwise.

This is awesome, the hands free is amazing quality, and the audio is definitely an upgrade. Being able to control via 'hey Siri' is great.

Awesome that the head unit is working as intended.

Do you know where the reversing-wire is located? I Want to connect this to the backing cam trigger on the HU.

I have also replaced the head unit, but the "Disp" button on the steering wheel stopped working, and I don't know how to get this to work. Tried some Google searching but no luck.
