Toyota Estima lap belt

Hi,

I'm new to the MPV section of the forum, but use the Rav4 frequently.

I have been trying to join the TEOC forum for weeks with no joy for some reason and then realised I can post a question on this one 

I have a 2003 Toyota Estima and I need to extend the centre lap belt on the rear seat.  I only need to do it by a couple of inches.

The centre lap belt has a weird buckle and housing, so I cannot just get a normal plug in belt extextender, that is the easiest way.  So I am looking at the bolt in seat extender.

I have emailed a few seatbelt specialists, but they have not had the decency to even reply !!

Can anyone help me with this please ?

Cheers for that, but I'm not after a replacement belt for a damaged one, I need a replacement which is longer, so one out of another Estima is no use.

That's why I need some info on extensions or replacements.

This would normally be a easy thing to do, if it was not for the fact that the god dam centre lap belt did not have weird buckles unlike the usual normal belts !!!

Thanks, I tried them.  No luck.  I did find a uk company who do seatbelts from scratch, I simply sent them my old seatbelt and they simply replaced the webbing part and made it longer for me.

 

Only cost £20, well worth it and solved a issue I had whilst still keeping the existing seatbelt fixings and buckles.
