We were walking round chinatown/soho area mid may time and there was a very nice skyline nearly hooked my jacket with his spoiler, how it can have been legal I'll never know, but man the car was so cool, the guy driving looked like a right dork but hey who was looking at him....

the supra will make a better daily driver, the skyline does cost alot to run

tuning wise the supra will give you more bang for your buck, the 2jz-gte is still rated as the best 6 cylinder engine built in Japan, there pretty darn bullit proof

Im almost 22 with zero offences but one accident in the last 3 years. (thus 0ncb)

Live in a pretty love crime area.

Once i add my aunt who has been driving for over 5 years it brings my quote down to approx £700.

Just to elaborate on my answer to this poll, im going to try not to be bias on this just because i own a supra but here is goes. I chose the supra simply because i wanted ultimate power and spec but at the same time a good day to day car with cheap-ish insurance.

I do love the skyline and wont mind a nice R34 GTR but its the fact of the price they go for in the first place, getting hold of parts, insurance & the fact this nissan is now owned by renault <_< . If i was going to get a skyline it would be a uk model simply for insurance purposes.

The skyline is usually quicker off the lights because of the 4wd but the Supra has a higher top speed potential because of the RWD layout and the airo-dynamics of the body.

Comes down to taste at the end of the day, both cars are highly respected machines and are probably the best two Japanese muscle cars out (sorry but the RX7, 350/300ZX dont cut the mustard) but i personally rate the Supra much higher than the Skyline.
