Fuel filter

Hi can someone through some light on petrol fuel filter please.have had a look under bonnet cannot see one.is it under car near tank please

I think the fuel filter is in the tank.Unless someone has put fuel in your tank from a container that was contaminated the chance of "dirty" fuel from a garage today is pretty remote. If you lift the rear seat is there a plate under there that gives access to the fuel pump/filter ?

Will have a look thanks.when bought car pipe that feed tank had rusted so I wondered if any had found its way into tank
