Celica Gen 6 Steering Wheel / Airbag Resistor

Considering fitting an after market smaller steering wheel. Probably many members have done this modification in the past ? Before going too deep into this idea i would like some information on what size resistor is needed to bypass airbag system keeping the air bag light off ? Found article on google stating 3.3 ohms / any auto electrician able to confirm Any information appreciated
