Old Avensis '98 MOT'd for another year.

I did a crafty check on my old Mk1 Avensis GLS '98, and it has passed it's MOT for another year. That is great because I maintained it for 13 years, and it was a great workhorse. 

There are a few Mk1's in my area mostly the 1.8 leanburn engine. These cars are so easy to maintain and repair if needed. 

I saw the car a couple of weeks ago and it has not been cleaned since I sold it, and I can see the polish marks I made. I gave them the spare oil I had, plus a headlight bulb.

Now I have moved on to my Mk3 and hope it can live up to the Mk1.

Yes, it's hard to let go sometimes Konrad, did the same myself with the last Jeep Grand Cherokee I sold (I was fond of the old battle horse). Sure enough it was still taxed and MOT'd - isn't the Net a wonderful thing.

Mind you, cars can be like boats, you get two really happy days - the day you buy it and the day you sell it.
