Rear Seat Belt Rattle

Quick question regarding the Toyota iQ rear seat belts...

Whether the rear seats are up or down, the rear seat belts rattle against the plastic trim pieces. Does anybody know how to stop this? Or any other ideas?

Many thanks.

Hi Ben and welcome

I had this issue.

I've now wedged each of the rear seatbelt buckles into the slot just below the quarter light window from where the belt is dispensed

I just have them permanently buckled up- no rattles then!

And no warning lights to say that they're unbuckled either - double win!

We do the same as Dave. Check them from time to time if lots of stuff in and out of the back as they can work free of being jammed in. Otherwise, Bill's idea works just as well (at least with seats up).

Just under the top seatbelt fixing is a small slot in the trim that the metal buckle pushes into. It's there for the job and I find it works very well but some say it doesn't stay in place.
