Hi😊

I've recently purchased a corolla t sport, and as I got home with the car I noticed I couldn't get any radio stations. It used to keep scanning but now it's stayed at the channel I tuned it to. No static noise either which is worrying! I've had the stereo out and plugged the Arial in and it still finds nothing. It is the original satnav radio with GPS, 2005. I have read up that it could be a bad earth but how do I go about fixing that if that is the case? And where is the earth located? 

Help!
