Strange noise sometimes when turning

I keep hearing a strange noise when turning sometimes it sound like small bearings passing from one side of car to other from the rear it doesn't always happen and I'd a very light sound  but is driving me mad I've checked in the back but doesn't seem to be anything obvious to cause it
