Celica gen 7 misfire problems. Help!!

Hey guys I've got a celica gen 7 and has randomly started mis firing under load, when it idles revs go up and down and tries to stall if you don't keep revs up, problem is getting rapidly worse. doesn't seem to make a difference if engine is hot or cold. I have checked coils etc but still nothing. I changed fuel filter the other day but don't see why this would affect it. misfire is random and will drive normal for couple of seconds then revert to misfire. drive is starting to get jerky and have to coax it to drive away. really don't know what is wrong please help guys!!!
