Hi. Im new to this. Iv just bought a toyota corolla t sport 2002 vvtli 190bhp. There is a constant knocking noise when i drive it coming from the front. Sort of goes away when i apply the brakes gently. Been told it could be the n/s driveshaft but not 100% sure just want some advice before i go and buy one. Cheers 👍🏻P

Hi pal, any knocking doesn't sound good. Stops with the brakes pressed! Could be drive shaft. What about when it's in neutral and your rolling/slowing down?

Is it there Hi and Low Rev's?  Can you hear it when the cars stood still!

Sorry I'm not much help. Trying to gauge it on my head

Could be worn bushes too. That's the problem with front end knock and noises different bushes could be worn around the steering and suspension area but yes it also be the driveshaft too.
