Rav 4.2 intermittent buzzing sound from dashboard

I have a 2003 D4D and about a year ago I started getting some intermittent buzzing sound from the dashboard. It started out with buzzing only for a few seconds during a two hour drive, but lately it also occurs during 10 minute drives. I'm suspecting it's coming from the head unit/stereo, which is a no-brand two-din do-it-all I got on e-bay several years back. I unhooked the head unit for a few days, and didn't notice any buzzing, but then again it can go several days without buzzing to begin with. I made a video of the buzzing a while back when it occured before I could even start the car. Any ideas?

Just found another video I made in January 2016. That one was quite intense.
