Cold start at -21, 1.0 12V, why we should depress clutch

-21 today in the morning here. Depressing the clutch makes the start easier and saves the Battery and the starter

A lot of modern cars, including most Toyotas, won't allow one to start the car unless the clutch is depressed - which prevents the car moving should it be in gear when started.
