Toyota Hilux - Turning 18

Hello there, I'm turning 18 in March. And I am looking to gift myself (because I am very kind like that you see) to a Toyota Hilux. Now I'm not overly fussed about if its the 2.5l or 3l. As long as it looks nice and is the one without the plastic bumper on the front.

Now my questions go as followed:

What hilux do you recommend (age wise and engine, auto vs manual)?

Whats expected on fuel (Not really a big deal, as my car i have now costs me a fortune)

And what prices are good for hiluxs in relations the milage I would get with one... So for one with 20k miles on it and a 2013 model, what prices are too much and what price is good price etc?

Thanks :)

Woah, hold on there cowboy.

Have you considered the insurance for a Hilux at your age? Not to put a dampner on what you're after, God knows I was after a Jaguar when I learnt to drive at 21 but all I could afford to run was a 15 year old Peugeot 306.
