Sat Nav Background

Hi, in view of some comments i have seen regarding Sat Nav Settings recently , I have a touch and Go Sat Nav and the background color is a dismal looking Grey  (the car direction cursor is in Blue) I have tried the settings section with Day/Night mode, night mode comes up even darker, is this the norm or are there other settings.

If it's on the 2015 Yaris in your profile you don't have Touch & Go, you have Touch 2 with Go - different system, so settings between the 2 probably are not comparable.

Also, on T2 with G there was a substantial UI change released this Spring so they may differ even between different software on the same hardware ...

If you are urban  then a lot of the screen presumably will be grey for buildings. Another possibility is that you have the contrast turned right down.

Night mode is meant to be dimmer.

Confirmed after a visit to Mr T today that the Grey background on my display is due to being in an Urban area and noticed on my way home that it changes color as you get more rural, also asked how to turn off the Guidence as some on here were not sure, This is done by selecting the small cog wheel symbol at the bottom right hand corner of the display which brings up another menu and then select stop gideance.
