Rav 4 brake light problem

Hi,

 

I have a 2003 Rav 4. Both side brake lights have stopped working, but the one set into the top of the door is still fine. It seems a bit of a coincidence that both side break lights have stopped together. I'll be checking bulbs etc over the weekend, but assuming they are ok, what else could it be? Do the side break lights & the top one run off different fuses?

 

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
