RAV4 2007 warning lights

Recently had ABS warning light come on dash, followed by 'BRAKE SYSTEM' light. Switched off, checked fluid and pedal pressure, lights were out on restart. Next day, ABS light came on, followed by VSC light. Again, lights out on restart. Had diagnostic check, showed ''open circuit on brake light switch''. New switch (non-Toyota) fitted costing £20/$25, plus 10 minutes mechanic time, problem solved.
