Front Suspension knock but not....

HI all, Love this site, been very useful in past, so wanna give some advice back & one more question

I have a UK registered 2003 Rav 2.0D4D 3dr here in Greek Islands. 

I had an annoying front suspension knock, so basically changed all the obvious, bottom wishbones, droplink arms then eventually changed the front struts, It needed these bits anyway but still I had the knocking on an uneven road. 

Then I discover if I just lightly touched the brake pedal when I was driving the knocking stopped. 

So I knew that it must be brake related. On further inspection the calipers are very wobbly on the carriers, so off I go now to buy a slider pin kit, BUT can anyone confirm if the carriers wear too?? Cant see any for sale on the usual sites such as EuroCarParts etc. Does anyone with experience of this have any advice for me?? Change carrier or not??
