mr2 mk 3 Batttery Clamp

Anyone know where i can get the long bolt ( hook on one end, thread on the other ) and nut that holds on the Battery in a mr2 mk3 ? I've got the clamp, just need the bolt

Try a roofing/builers merchants for a roof cladding fixing bolt. About 8'' long with hook end and threaded end with nut, rust proofed too! you can get various lengths. worth a try if you struggle to find an original.

Can you not knock something up with a length of threaded bar either bent round or with a hook trapped between two nuts? Bit of heat shrink to protect end of hook / car bracket fretting / rusting?

Go to Toyota. I only paid a couple of pounds for one for my Mk3 Avensis. They are all similar.
