Help needed with turbo and tdc

Hi all on my 55 plate rav4 d4d having rebuilt the engine after a hydrolock I obviously couldn't take note of tdc on the head as engine was siezed Am I correct in assuming the 2 notches in the gear end of the camshaft is at tdc when they are both pointing to each other Question 2 the turbo which is knackered is a cheep Chinese thing with no numbers on it is there anyway I can find out wich is the correct turbo for this car? Cheers in advance Mick dixey
