any thoughts on valve stems VS piston rings VS something else?

so, i was thinking of sorting out a LEAKDOWN TEST to see if it was rings or head etc

on that same thought and having cleaned and checked the PCV valve of my T22 1zz, i checked the dipstick.

With the engine at idle and the dipstick out, there is presure in the dipstick guide tube.

this isn't normal is it?
