Previa Power Heater Switch - On or Off ?

For my Previa 2003  D4D 2 litre:

Please tell me which way is ON for the power heater switch ?   In or Out ?   There is no indicator light on the switch.   Should there be ?

Most likely in for on. Check the fuse.

Good thinking !   I shall also fit a indicator lamp above it to show when it's on.   Many Thanks !

Better still, search for a similar switch with an indicator. Toyota produce a wide range of switches and there are some copies too (non Toyota branded).
