Cannot find speed dials option for my phone on new Auris Hybrid 2017

Hi,

I cannot find an option to set up speed dials for my iPhone SE on my new Auris Hybrid 2017.

I have looked under all bluetooth and Phone options and cannot find how to set up speed dials. The owners manual that was supplied only goes as far as pairing my phone to bluetooth which i have done.

Has anyone else had the same problem?

Congrats on the new car & welcome to the forum, John

I have neither Touch 2 nor an iPhone but could you not just use Siri?

There is probably a fuller user guide available for download from http://www.toyota-tech.eu/Menu/Owner

Thank you for the speedy response and your welcome to the forum.

Do you mean Siri to check for the answer? which would be a good idea.

I will check the link you mention and see if I can find a resolution there. Perhaps speed dialling is not an option in Touch 2, but would be surprised if that is the case. I will report back and let you know how I get on.

No, can't you use Siri to voice dial e.g. "Call David"?

Hi Scott,

Ok, called to garage i bought the car from and the Siri option is not available on my version of the Touch 2, pity.

However, strangely the Favourites" are added under the "add contacts" option. I had seen this and it looked to me as if this is the way you would add new contacts to the Address Book. But not so... This is in fact becomes the "favourites" list.

So problem solved and thanks again for your help on this issue for me.
