Dual Tone Loud Beep!

Right then chaps took the Aygo for a spin down the Motorway got off hit a bit of traffic but not much and then a very loud dual tone beep!  Its not the seat belt similar but quieter,  it has a the satnav system fitted and not sure if it has a warning beep for cameras but wasn't moving that quick anyway. The car has a normal gearbox but I have always thought the clutch pedal was high but was told that is how they all are.

Any input would be helpful.

Hi Woody,

It wouldn't be the "Low Fuel Level" warning beeper would it?  If it is, It does sound similar to the seat belt warning that you get if you put a bag or something by mistake on the passenger seat.

Probably camera beep. We noticed the exact same thing when we took out a demo car from our dealer.

No the wife was sitting in the passenger seat.  There was half a tank of fuel at the time.

I imagine that he means the satnav warning of a speed camera site.

No i mean speed camera beep from the satnav.

LOL.  I see.

I have been out for a run deliberately to pass some speed cameras and it's the correct sound.

There isnt any warning lights/symbols unless the SatNav is on and then you get a picture of a Speed Camera with an idea of distance.

My daughter has just bought a second hand Aygo and this “double beep” when approaching speed camera is quite alarming, it’s way too loud! I appreciate that this post is YEARS after the original thread, but does anyone know how to turn this down? TIA.
